The Admissions & Enrollment Data Analyst supports the integrity and quality of the college’s admissions and enrollment data by proactively monitoring records, identifying potential issues such as duplicates or fraud, and helping to ensure accurate student information. The position contributes to continuous improvement by documenting data management processes and analyzing trends and recommending enhancements that strengthen data quality and operational effectiveness across the intuition. - Analyze and interpret admissions and enrollment data to support institutional reporting, compliance requirements, and strategic decision-making; provide timely and accurate insights to leadership and operational teams. - Conduct data analysis and research related to admissions processes, enrollment trends, and data integrity, including identifying indicators of fraudulent or suspicious activity, and recommending data-informed strategies to mitigate risk and improve outcomes. - Serve as a subject matter expert on admissions and enrollment data integrity, including investigating inconsistencies, resolving duplicate records, and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. - Perform updates and corrections to student records in alignment with institutional policies, established procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, IT, and other stakeholders to investigate data issues, address suspected fraud, and ensure coordinated, accurate record maintenance. - Communicate directly with students and campus staff to investigate and resolve issues related to duplicate records, suspected fraud, and student accounts updates, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective resolution. - Identify recurring data patterns and trends contributing to errors or duplicates, recommend process improvements and support implementation of best practices to enhance institutional data quality. - Generate routine and ad hoc reports, develop and maintain documentation for date management and fraud detection processes, and utilize analytics and data visualization tools to provide actionable insights through dashboards. - Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree\* - Two (2) years of research-related work experience \*Minimum work qualification can be substituted with and equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree - Experience working with student information systems (Banner, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP) - Demonstrated experience analyzing complex data to identify trends, errors, risks, or opportunities for improvement. - Experience supporting data integrity, duplicate record resolution, compliance, or confidential records management. - Proficiency with reporting, spreadsheet, dashboard, or data visualization tools. - Experience collaborating across departments to resolve data, records, or operational issues.
