The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator. Provides supervision and oversight to the Program Integrity Unit (PIU) within the Division of Developmental Disabilities (Division) Corporate Compliance Unit (CCU). Monitors Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) prevention, detection, and reporting activities including but not limited to training Division's staff and providers, tracking and trending reporting metrics, and collaborating with other governmental agencies including Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) , Department of Economic Security (DES) OIG, and Social Security Administration (SSA). Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing, Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family member with a principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor. | Job Duties: | | --- | Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Oversees and monitors FWA prevention, detection, and reporting requirements. Ensures proper disposition of FWA referrals. - Overseeing Monitoring and Oversight activities to include reports of noncompliance and systemic issues, conducting Risk Assessments, and auditing corrective actions. Warrants maintenance of compliance activities and Risk Mitigation. - Oversees and conducts audits, ensuring the Division’s compliance with CMS requirements, Federal and State laws, regulations, statutes, policy, procedure, and contract requirements. Understands and ensures adherence to the seven Elements of Compliance. - Prepares and submits Corporate Compliance AHCCCS deliverables. Reviews and approves deliverable submissions from AdSS. - Develops a variety of communications and training materials, incorporating the latest State and Federal laws, statutes, regulations, policies, procedures, and contract requirements. Conducts meetings, work groups, and training with internal and external stakeholders. - Completes Performance Appraisals, authorizes leave, and approves ETE Time Cards for staff. Demonstrates leadership skills, provides coaching, mentoring, professional development and follows personnel rules. | Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): | | --- | Knowledge in: - Managed Care principles and delivery systems. - AHCCCS rules, policies, and contract requirements. - Division's rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Organizational relationship of the Division to members and families, AdSS, subcontracted provider network and service provision. - Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) related law, sta…
