## Description The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing clerical and administrative support for the General Manager, Board of Directors, Department Directors and other personnel. May perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Provide the clerical support necessary for the efficient management of the DTA. - Operate networked computer to access e-mail, calendars and customized software - Type documents and meeting minutes using Microsoft Office suite. - Operate office equipment such as copier, fax and coin counting machine - Create and distribute internal and external business correspondence, announcements, forms and publications - Maintain records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage and destruction. - Coordinate special meetings and events. - Coordinate and attend meetings; record, transcribe and publish meeting minutes. - Serve as the assistant for the Board of Directors and maintain board records and files. - Coordinates business travel arrangements for board and staff members. - Assist department directors with administrative duties. - Maintain postage meter; process outgoing mail. - Purchase office supplies. - Perform cashier duties including counting farebox revenues, reconciling fare receipts and making bank deposits. - Perform other related duties as may be required. **Qualifications:** - High school graduate.
