We seek a diverse pool of highly qualified individuals who are passionate about teaching and preparing the next generation of skilled HVACR technicians and industry professionals. Adjunct instructors may teach courses across a variety of HVACR-related disciplines, including residential and commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration, controls and automation, electrical fundamentals, system design, installation practices, diagnostics and troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, energy management, building systems, and emerging technologies within the industry. Candidates should possess expertise in one or more areas of HVACR systems, installation, service, maintenance, controls, or related technical fields and demonstrate a commitment to student success through applied, hands-on learning experiences. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon program needs, enrollment, and available funding. The anticipated start dates for these positions are August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught 100% online. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, or Wisconsin by the first day of employment and for the duration of time of performing services for Ferris State University.
