We seek a diverse pool of highly qualified individuals who are passionate about teaching and preparing the next generation of skilled HVACR technicians and industry professionals. Adjunct instructors may teach courses across a variety of HVACR-related disciplines, including residential and commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration, controls and automation, electrical fundamentals, system design, installation practices, diagnostics and troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, energy management, building systems, and emerging technologies within the industry. Candidates should possess expertise in one or more areas of HVACR systems, installation, service, maintenance, controls, or related technical fields and demonstrate a commitment to student success through applied, hands-on learning experiences. The anticipated start dates for these positions are August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon program needs, enrollment, and available funding. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.
