**Position:** Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide **Department:** Academic Affairs **Type of Position:** Adjunct Faculty **Exemption Status:** Exempt **Work Schedule, Hours per week:** Varies depending on department needs **Opportunity for hybrid schedule:** Yes **Starting Salary Range:** AJCR $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume. **Position Summary:** The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of health occupations students during fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. **Required Qualifications:** - Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas, or Multi-State Licensure, or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Licensed Practical Nurse. - 2 -5 Years of experience as an LPN in long-term care nursing. - Experience in supervising CNAs. - Continuing education about person-centered care. - Excellent Communication skills. - Comfortable with technology. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous Higher Education experience.
