The ADA Digital Accessibility Specialist supports our client by assisting the organization with ADA Compliance for web sites, web and mobile applications/content, online forms and documents to meet or exceed the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) related to Digital Accessibility. **Duties Include:** - Responsible for the discovery and remediation of current digital accessibility issues. - Responsible for creating internal workflows and trainings, to establish ongoing compliance with digital accessibility requirements. - Lead these efforts based on extensive knowledge of ADA digital accessibility requirements, associated technology, and organizational change management. - Creates, updates and develops accessibility content, testing processes and procedures for specific internal groups to improve teamwork efficiency. - Educates and provides staff with technical support in creating accessible websites and content, conventional documents, data dashboards, web applications, videos and other digital information. - Assist individuals and teams in using tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro, WAVE, Lighthouse, Color Contrast Analyzer, NVDA Screen Reader, Microsoft accessibility checkers and manual keyboard navigation techniques to ensure that people using assistive technology are able to access programs, services and activities while following federal and state guidelines for accessibility. **ImportantDetails –** **InterviewProcess:** Teams with camera on **Durationof the Contract:** 6/30/2027, with potential for at least 1-year extension **Onsiteor Remote:** Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. Those local to the Madison area are strongly preferred. No relocation allowed.
