As a member of Protective's Actuarial Student Program, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while receiving support for actuarial exam progression and professional development. This role offers the opportunity to partner with valuation actuaries, financial reporting professionals, and cross-functional business teams to support the accurate valuation and financial reporting of Universal Life products. In this role, you will gain exposure to Statutory, GAAP, and Tax valuation processes, actuarial modeling, financial reporting, reserve analysis, and regulatory reporting. You will contribute to quarterly valuation activities, model enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of new products and reporting capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing expertise in life insurance valuation and financial reporting while progressing toward actuarial credentials. The level and title will be determined based on the selected candidate's actuarial experience, exam progress, and demonstrated capabilities.
