Actors/Customer Service for Kids Birthday Parties (Northbrook)

This individual must be motivated, passionate, and can ideally deliver an exceptional birthday party experience to both kids and their families on the weekend. We are seeking energetic individuals who can guide kids in their discovery of slime, chemical reactions, and other fun hands-on science experiences at our Chicago locations. This is a job that will energize you. It is not mundane, nor is it the same thing every day; rather, it will push you to navigate new situations and environments that help you grow your skills. If you just want an hourly job, this is not a good role for you. Successful candidates can engage groups of young kids and parents, laugh, and believe strongly in KSL's mission. This is part-time role, which requires a Saturday/Sunday commitment, so college students; education majors and entertainers are encouraged to apply. In addition to our normal classes, camps, and field trips, Kids Science Labs delivers the most fun and exciting birthday experiments for kids 4-12. These parties are 75-105 minute events, where our team delivers a memorable and exciting hands-on experience by engaging with groups of 10-30 kids in hands-on science. This candidate will know the ins and outs of delivering a truly memorable event at KSL and will guide our other team members to execute the plan flawlessly. The Birthday Team is comprised of 3-4 individuals, who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer experience for our guests. Candidates who desire to be teachers often start out on our Birthday Team and then work their way into a teaching position at Kids Science Labs. **This is a Part-Time position where team members can earn $20-$22/hour plus tips.
