# Part-Time Activities Associate **Location:** Dearborn, MI Make every day meaningful. Join our Assisted Living team! We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable **Part-Time Activities Associate** to join our Assisted Living community in Dearborn, Michigan. In this role, you will help create engaging experiences that promote social connection, wellness, independence, and quality of life for our residents. ### Responsibilities - Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities. - Encourage resident participation while fostering a warm, welcoming environment. - Support special events, holiday celebrations, outings, and community entertainment. - Prepare activity areas, set up materials, and clean up after programs. - Escort residents to and from activities as needed. - Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members. - Maintain activity supplies and assist with decorating common areas for seasonal events. - Document resident participation and communicate observations with the Life Enrichment and care teams. ### Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience in senior living, recreation, activities, customer service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus but not required. - Friendly, patient, compassionate, and dependable. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to assist with light physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting activity supplies, and transporting residents in wheelchairs when needed. - Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. ### Why Join Us? - Competitive part-time pay - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Paid training and opportunities for growth - Rewarding work that makes a positive impact every day - A welcoming community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enriching the lives of older adults If you're passionate about helping seniors stay active, engaged, and connected, we'd love to meet you.
