## Overview St. Joseph Residence is a “CMS Five Star Quality” skilled nursing community that takes great pride in providing quality care and “Caring for Our Community”. - Great WI DQA Quality of Care Surveys - Wage adjustment for proven recent experience. - Standard schedule. ## Description **Part Time Day Shift - Time does vary but typically 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.Every Other Weekend Saturday and Sunday** **Looking to fill two positions: Position #1 has 45 hours in a 2 week pay period** **Position #2 has 54 hours in a pay period** **Job Description** St. Joseph Residence is a not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking a caring, compassionate, and responsible community member to join our activities team as an Activities Aide providing fun enrichment to our skilled nursing and assisted living community residents. We invite you to apply if you are customer service oriented, enjoy being busy and will be committed to giving superior customer service and providing enrichment through activities. **Responsibilities Include:** Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently, have good organizational skills, display effective communication skills (written and verbal), have the ability to push wheelchairs and is able to adapt well to change. Critical thinking and the ability to assess resident needs and make recommendations to leadership based upon them is required for this position. This role is required to initiate and lead individual and group activities. Must be able to follow direction of Activities Coordinator and Activities Director with minimal supervision. ## Requirements - Must be at least 18 years old - Must have a valid drivers license - Position requires a CPR/BLS certification to be completed within the first 60 days of employment. CPR must be in-person with an American Heart Association approved course. - Availability to work every other Saturday's and alternating holiday schedule. - Reliability: Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, and a good work ethic. - Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and contribute to a positive team dynamic. - Professional Representation: Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service while representing the St. Joseph Residence organization and communities.
