Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

This role ensures that all invoices and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, contributing to the overall financial health and efficiency of the organization **Responsibilities**: - Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for payment approval. - Ensure invoices are coded correctly and match purchase orders or other supporting documents. - Enter invoice data into the accounting system with a high degree of accuracy. - Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or delivery receipts. - Review statements and request invoice copies as needed. Prepare invoices for payment. - Partner/communicate with internal stakeholders to understand invoices, clarify questions, and resolve issues. - Communicate effectively within the organization, as well as externally, to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, or other questions surrounding accounts payable. - Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.
