ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

This position is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, company credit card reconciliations, payroll support, and monthly accruals, while providing day-to-day support to the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Process Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and vendor statement reconciliations - Manage Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations - Reconcile company credit card transactions and ensure proper coding and documentation - Prepare monthly accruals and assist with month-end close activities - Assist with payroll processing, payroll reporting, and employee timekeeping - Support staffing activities, including onboarding paperwork, employee records, and recruiting coordination - Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations - Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation - Assist with financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and other projects as assigned by the VP of Finance - Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred - 3+ years of accounting experience with AP and AR - Experience with payroll processing - Understanding of month-end close and accrual accounting - Strong Microsoft Excel skills - Experience with ERP/accounting software - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills - Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines - High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications - Manufacturing accounting experience - HR or staffing experience - Inventory accounting experience - Experience supporting finance leadership # ABOUT US **CONCEPT TO CREATION** Retail First is a full-service design-driven manufacturer of custom retail, point-of-purchase and merchandising displays, providing design, prototype, production, fulfillment and warehousing.
