Reporting to the Assistant Director, Finance, the Accounting Generalist will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner in Accor’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability for the Fairmont Chicago. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks: - Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service - Main focus of responsibilities: General Cashier duties - Daily recording of entertainment and promotion accounts - Daily support of accounts payable and accounts receivable - Assist with the reconciliation and payment of third party checks - Maintain stationary level and reorder as required - Ensure vendor files are up to date - Answer guest calls for billing discrepancies; folio requests - Provide office administration duties as required - Follow departmental policies and procedures - Follow all safety policies - Other duties as assigned ## Qualifications **Your experience and skills include:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
