Accounting Clerk

Water's Edge Resort & Spa is seeking a detail-oriented **Accounting Clerk** to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for daily revenue reporting, electronic deposits, and general accounting support in a fast-paced resort environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and prepare daily accounting reports - Audit transactions and resolve discrepancies - Process remote deposits and maintain deposit records - Prepare daily revenue, cashier, and labor reports - Assist with account reconciliations, and general accounting tasks - Support timeshare payment processing and month-end reporting - Provide administrative support, including mail distribution and reception duties **Qualifications:** - Previous cash handling, bookkeeping, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail - Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines - Experience with hotel PMS or POS systems (Maestro, Toast, or similar) is a plus - Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred **Full Time Employee Benefits:** - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Group Life Insurance - 401(k) with employer contribution eligibility after one year of full-time employment - Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays - Employee Meals - Employee discounts Apply today to become part of the Water's Edge Resort & Spa team!
