Accounting Clerk Entry Level

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department with basic financial and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately with numbers. Key Responsibilities - Enter and maintain financial records in accounting software. - Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports. - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. - Reconcile bank statements and financial records. - File and organize accounting documents and records. - Prepare routine financial reports and spreadsheets. - Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures. - Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments. - Perform general administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office software. - Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills - Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Data entry experience with high accuracy. - Problem-solving and analytical skills.
