This position assists in the administration and organization of documents and information required for effective and efficient office operations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Maintain friendly, cooperative relations with customers, vendors, company personnel and management. - Perform other tasks or assignments as delegated by the Controller. - Demonstrate the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations. - Perform a range of bookkeeping and accounting activities including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales, Job Costing, Payroll and Fixed Assets. - Review and Assign Job Costs to Projects from Costs Unassigned Report Daily. - Payroll Processing bi-monthly. - Process Commissions and maintain record of past commissions monthly. - Reviewing Sales Taxes monthly. - Reconcile Bank Accounts monthly. - Reconcile Credit Card Accounts. - Collect employee expense reports & receipts monthly. - Anticipate problems and provide contingency plans and recommendations. - Organize personal schedule to maximize productivity and time management. - Follow all Company personnel policies and procedures. **Experience and Requirements:** **Education** - High School Diploma **Experience** - One or more years of experience in accounting. - Computer skills, including capabilities in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, Quickbooks experience preferred. **Benefits: We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:** - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match - Life Insurance & Health Savings Account (HSA) - Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Critical Illness & Accident Coverage - Pet Insurance - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays The Company provides equal employment opportunity in accordance with applicable laws and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
