Accounts Receivable (approximately 30% of role): - Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts - Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances - Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes - Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance Accounting Analyst (approximately 70% of role): - Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation - Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data - Other duties as assigned **What We're Looking For** - 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience a plus - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, including comfort following up with customers - Manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or business-to-business industry experience is a plus - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required **Build a Career with L&M** At L&M Corrugated Container, our accounting team plays a critical role in keeping the business running smoothly.
