Accountant

Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to contribute to the company's financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting budgeting and audit activities. ## Key Responsibilities - Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. - Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. - Support the wider Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. ## Requirements - Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or currently in the final stages of qualification. - Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. - Experience within the cryptocurrency industry will be considered an advantage. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. ## What Our Client Offers - Fully remote working environment based in Malta. - Competitive salary package based on experience. - Supportive and collaborative team environment. - Opportunities for learning, professional development, and career growth. - Hands-on exposure to accounting and financial operations within a growing business.
