**Pay Grade/Pay Range:** Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7) * * * **Department/Organization:** 502702 - Campus Financial Affairs * * * **Normal Work Schedule:** Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm * * * **Job Summary:** The Accountant I prepares, reconciles, and audits budgets under general supervision. Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, and/or statements. Completes journal entries. Reviews, analyzes, and approves expenditures. Determines fund balances. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, University policies, and procedures. * * * **Required Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related financial field. * * * **Skills and Knowledge:** Proficiency in working with personal computers and standard application software. * * * **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with printing and bindery operations.
