Account Mgr-LTL

While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location(s)in Wichita, Kansas. **POSITION OVERVIEW**: Responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining customer relationships within a defined geographic territory. Focus on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored LTL solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**: - Direct sales efforts within a terminal operations locality. - Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with district goals. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach. - Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains. - Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service. - Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals. Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities. - Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned **MINIMUM** EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. **MINIMUM** EXPERIENCE 2 years B2B sales experience. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND** ABILITIES Strong initiative, organizational skills, and adaptability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce. Mid-level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing. Ability to collaborate with local operations teams. Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape. Ability to manage time and territory effectively. **JOB CONDITIONS**: Ability to travel overnight as required.
