About the role: Using developed and proven personalised sales techniques, this role oversees full management of allocated customer account management responsibilities. The incumbent of the role is responsible for acquiring additional revenue streams from the existing allocated Shift customer portfolio, as well as bringing on new customers within the ‘Direct’ customer channel who can benefit from the Shift platform offerings. The Account Manager role works closely with customers to determine and explore potential solutions through the anticipation of the customer’s business growth needs. Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Actively own and manage the relationship for allocated Shift customers through strategic and effective account management practices, customer service, and general curious outreach - Acquire new Shift customers within the Direct customer channel – warm, pre-qualified leads - Work with customers to understand their business needs and strategies, helping customers recognise how the Shift solutions can help accelerate their business - Sell Shift Platform solutions to prospective clients using solid arguments backed by the Shift sales approach - Conduct ongoing outreach to allocated customer portfolio to support increased platform utilisation, promotion and retention - Provide guidance to customers on service, platform, and general queries - Respond to and problem-solve customer queries via email and phone - Complete due diligence associated with the establishment of new accounts and ongoing management of existing accounts - Collaborate with team to inform development of effective and efficient processes related to the delivery of exceptional customer service and customer management - Collaborate with other operational teams across the Shift business to manage the needs and challenges of your customer portfolio - Use Salesforce CRM to enter and manage customer account information Skills & Experience: - Developed interpersonal skills to enable effective relationship building - Ability to anticipate customer needs and match with appropriate Shift solutions - Strong phone management skills - Active listening skills - Effective communication skills - Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively - Strong problem-solving skills - Demonstrated relationship management/sales experience in a professional services setting - Proven experience successfully managing a pipeline of existing customers and potential leads - Proven customer support/representative experience - Strong understanding of financial services (ideally lending) highly regarded - Proficient with MS Office Qualifications: - A business or finance degree is beneficial but not essential #LI-SA1 Key benefits: - Collaborative teams – a flat structure means everyone can learn from colleagues and senior leaders around the business. - Be involved – come together with all of your colleagues every 100 days to share the product and technology roadmap and business strategy. - Flexible working environment – we’re headquartered in North Sydney with state-based workplaces and offer a flexible work policy. - Family support – industry leading 26 weeks paid parental…
