**Accessibility Services CoordinatorSalary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour **Position Summary** The Part-Time Accessibility Services Specialist is responsible for coordinating disability services and facilitating the delivery of reasonable academic accommodations for students with disabilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Student Experience and Success Support Services (or designee), this position serves as the primary point of contact for students seeking disability-related accommodations and supports implementation of services in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title IX, and College policies. This position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, the College's Section 504 Compliance Officer, and other campus partners to ensure equitable access to academic programs and services. This position is based on the Nelsonville campus and is not eligible for telework. **Essential Functions** 1. Disability Services Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for students requesting disability accommodations. Conduct intake meetings and facilitate the interactive process with students requesting accommodations. Review disability documentation and prepare accommodation recommendations consistent with College policies. Coordinate the implementation of approved accommodations with faculty and campus departments. Prepare and distribute accommodation notification letters. Maintain confidential student records and documentation in accordance with applicable laws and institutional policies. Respond to student questions regarding disability services, accommodations, and available resources. Assist students in accessing appropriate campus and community resources. 2. Accommodation Administration Coordinate testing accommodations with faculty and the Testing Center. Monitor accommodation implementation and follow up with students and faculty as needed. Assist in resolving accommodation-related concerns and refer complex issues to the appropriate administrator. Maintain accommodation tracking records and service documentation. Assist with semester start-up and end-of-semester accommodation processes. 3. Compliance Support Support implementation of disability services in accordance with ADA, Section 504, Title IX, and institutional policies. Coordinate accommodations for pregnant and parenting students in collaboration with the College's Title IX Coordinator. Collaborate with the Section 504 Compliance Officer regarding complex accommodation requests or situations requiring additional review. Assist with disability awareness programming and faculty education related to accommodation implementation. 4. Technology and Accessibility Remain current on emerging technologies, including assistive and accessibility-related tools, to enhance service delivery and support student success. Evaluate and integrate appropriate technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools, to improve access, learning outcomes, and student readiness for the workforce. Assist students in identifying and utilizing assistive technology resources that support academic success. 5. Records and Reporting Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to accommodation services and utilization. Assist with assessment activities and data collection to support continuous improvement of disability services. Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development activities. 6. Other Duties Perform other duties related to disability services and accessibility as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. One (1) to three (3) years of experience in disability services, student services, higher education, counseling, education, or a related field.
