Access Control Field Technician

This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality installations. **What You'll Do:** - Install, program, and service commercial access control systems - Install and configure CCTV camera systems and NVRs - Install, program, and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems - Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling - Configure network-connected security devices - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues - Train customers on system operation and best practices - Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation - Complete service calls and installation projects independently and with a team **Systems and Technologies You'll Work With:** Access Control: - DoorKing - ButterflyMX - Latch - Dormakaba - Kantech Video Surveillance: - IP Camera Systems, such as: - Luma - ClareVision - Honeywell - Digital Watchdog - Turing Video Burglar Systems: - Honeywell - DSC **Job Qualifications:** - 5+ years of commercial access control installation and service experience - Experience with card readers, RFID systems, magnetic locks, electric strikes, request-to-exit devices, telephone entry systems and smart locks - 3+ years of commercial CCTV installation and troubleshooting experience - Experience with burglar alarm installation, programming, and service - Working knowledge of networking and IP-based systems - Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation - Valid driver's license with clean driving record - Ability to pass background screening - Ability to use hand and power tools - Some travel required **What We Offer:** - Competitive pay: $25-$40 per hour based on experience - Paid holidays, paid vacation, retirement plan - Ongoing training and manufacturer certification opportunities - Career growth opportunities - Work with a variety of commercial security and smart building technologies - Supportive team environment focused on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction If you are an experienced access control technician who takes pride in delivering professional installations and solving complex technical challenges, we'd like to hear from you.
