Job Title: Academy Driver Department: Academy Reports to: Manager, Academy Player Care Position Summary: Part-Time Driver for FC Cincinnati Academy to transport Academy players to and potentially from soccer training. The candidate will be responsible for the safety and well-being of children during transportation, follow the provided schedule of pick up and drop off times, and maintain a professional and courteous environment and demeanor. What You’ll Do: Safely transport Academy players (minors) to and potentially from soccer training according to daily schedule provided. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit. Maintain punctuality for all pick-up and drop-off times. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the company vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with FC Cincinnati Staff and other stakeholders regarding transportation logistics. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and times. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle. Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities and company management immediately. What You’ll Bring: Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and varying hours based on soccer training schedule. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and focused during stressful situations. Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Familiarity with SafeSport. What You’ll Need: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in driving children or similar roles preferred. Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Able to sit for extended periods of time while driving.
