## Overview A kind, active young family based in the West Village is seeking an energetic, engaging, and experienced Weekend Nanny/Manny to care for their two active boys, ages 7 and 5, and their 3-year-old daughter. The parents are hands-on, and there is additional support on Saturdays. The family is looking for someone who naturally embodies a "big sister" or "big brother" approach—someone who is playful, active, kind, and genuinely enjoys becoming part of a family's life. The ideal candidate is confident in planning fun-filled weekends, encouraging outdoor play, sports, creativity, and adventure while also providing structure, consistency, and excellent childcare. The schedule is Saturday from 7am to Monday at 9am, live-in. The position is only live-in when working. Housing is not provided for off days. Travel to Westchester in July and the Hamptons in August is required. Always ensuring their safety and well-being - Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual development - Participate in active outings including sports, baseball practice, playgrounds, birthday parties, swimming, and outdoor adventures - Foster creativity through arts, crafts, games, and imaginative play - Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children - Drive or escort the children safely to activities, sports, playdates, and events - Keep children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organized - Handle children's laundry and clean up after meals and activities - Pack/unpack for travel - Work collaboratively with the parents, housekeeper, and other household staff to ensure seamless coverage - Administer basic first aid or medication if required - Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment at all times ## Qualifications - Naturally warm, energetic, and highly engaging - Enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and keeping up with active children - Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with changing family schedules - Confident swimmer - Comfortable traveling with the family when required - Patient, dependable, organized, and proactive - Maintains the highest level of discretion and confidentiality - Collaborative team player ## Requirements - Comfortable around dogs (family has one friendly dog) - Previous experience working in private households with similarly aged children - Excellent driver with a clean driving record and valid driver's license would be a plus - CPR Certified - Looking for a long-term commitment - College educated; a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred, but not required - Additional language skills are a plus, but not required - Legal to work in the U.S. ## Salary and Benefits The family is offering $45+/hr DOE, negotiable for exceptional candidates.
