**3rd Grade Teacher** Dr. John Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a 3rd Grade Teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and a LA state certification in Elementary Education. Additional certifications in Special Education, Reading Specialist, and/or ELL is desirable. Two (2)+ years experience with children in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with LA Student Standards, LEAP Assessments, Guided Reading, and Writing Workshop is required. Interest in leading extracurricular student activities is a plus. Workshops and training during the summer may be required. Position available August 2026.
