3D Manufacturing Technician

This position is ideal for a Manufacturing Technician to join the Research and Development team as a pilot line 3D Manufacturing Technician. Partnering with manufacturing and engineering teams, you’ll provide comprehensive processing support of medical devices. You will utilize cutting-edge equipment to 3D print and post-process these devices. This position plays a crucial role in Align Technology's Research and Development pilot line thereby driving the success of new product initiatives. ### Role expectations - Operate 3D Printing Equipment - Operate post process and test equipment - Ensure compliance with quality systems - Utilize solvents and resins for part manufacturing and machine cleaning - Maintain records, follow work instructions, and all ensure safety standards are followed - Communicate job status and machine status - Perform quality inspections - Package complete jobs - Thrive in fast-paced environment and execute with a sense of urgency - Address issues with meticulous attention to detail ### What we're looking for - Experience as a machine operator, technician, assembler, or similar role - PC experience in a work environment - Experience with 3D printing preferred - Experience in medical industry manufacturing preferred - Experience working in a high performing team - High school diploma or equivalent, Engineering degree preferred - 2 - 4 years of directly related experience - Swing shift M-F 11:30am to 8pm with occasional overtime to meet critical deadlines ### Pay Transparency If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan.
