Mandatory Saturday work may be required from time to time based on production needs. **If you’re still wondering why you should join our team, here’s a quick list of reasons:** - On the job training - no manufacturing experience required. - Access to our comprehensive benefits package on day 1. - 2nd Shift $1.50 an hour shift differential. **Benefits:** - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Disability insurance - Employee discount at our sister company Stancato's Italian Restaurant - Health insurance - Health Savings Account - Company Paid Life Insurance - 5 Days Paid Time Off - 2 Paid Sick Days - Paid Holidays - Paid Down Maintenance Days - Retirement plan - Vision insurance - Free Catered Lunch Every Shift - Company Provided Lockers & Lock - Free Laundered Uniforms **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Packs product from production line into correct packaging material via various line stations. - Performs visual inspections at various points on the production line to confirm equipment performance. - Handle up to 50# cases - Start and shut down packaging equipment - Stages packaging and other materials for next shifts production - Keeping the production floor clean and free of clutter - Helping out in other departments such as Dish or Load. - Helping take trash out and other housekeeping tasks - Maintain communication with supervisor, operators, and coworkers. - Understanding and compliance of HACCP, FDA, and other governing body’s requirements. *(all info provided via in-house training programs)* - Understanding and compliance to Allergen Management and GMP’s. *(all info provided via in-house training programs)* - Other duties as assigned by management **Education and/or Experience** - No education or experience is needed. **Language Skills** - Ability to read and write in English for paperwork and the ability to understand English for training purposes. - Able to read production board, paperwork, and labels to ensure the correct product identification, packaging materials, and storage location. **Mathematical Skills** - Basic addition and subtraction for inventory counts **Physical Demands** - The majority of your shift is spent on your feet and walking about. While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, stoop, twist, reach, stretch, kneel, bend, and walk. You may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. **Work Environment** - The noise level is usually moderately loud but can be quiet on some days. The work environment is quick paced in close quarters. The plant floor can get rather hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
