2nd SHIFT PRESS OPERATOR

If so, we have the perfect job for you!** **Apply Today-Start Tomorrow** **Background Friendly Employer!** Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM with possible overtime available on Fridays. - **Job Responsibilities:** - Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. - Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. - Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data. - Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material. **Minimum Qualifications** - Must be able to read and write English. - Must be able to do some heavy lifting (25 to 50 lbs) - Must be able to work in a hot/cold environment - Must be able to sit/stand and do repetitive motions for their entire shift. - Must be able to bend and twist throughout the day. - Must be able to work some overtime if needed. - Must be able to use basic hand tools and prefer knowledge of press machines. - Must be able to read a tape measure. - Must be able to operate a machine in a safe manner and adhere to all guidelines and PPE requirements at all times. - Must be able to follow simple basic instructions. - Good hand and eye coordination. - Excellent attendance (ability to arrive to work on time, as scheduled on a daily basis). - Attention to detail and **SAFETY a must**. - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent.
