With continued growth and expansion, we are looking for dependable team members who are eager to grow with us. **Position Summary** Joseph's Bakery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Associate** to join our Warehouse team on **2nd shift**. In this role, you will be responsible for breaking down route deliveries, preparing customer orders, verifying product accuracy, and ensuring outbound shipments meet our quality and food safety standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment, ideal for individuals who are organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining efficient warehouse operations. **Why Join Joseph's?** - Family-owned company with a collaborative and supportive culture - Stable and growing organization with long-term opportunity - Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including: - Health insurance - 401(k) - Paid holidays - Vacation time - Opportunity for cross-training and career growth **Key Responsibilities** - Break down customer orders for route drivers based on delivery invoices - Verify outbound orders for accuracy, including product counts and correct items - Ensure products are rotated using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices based on production dates - Inspect products before shipment to ensure they are clean, undamaged, and meet quality standards - Restack bread trays and pallets as needed to maintain safe and organized warehouse operations - Restack leaning or damaged pallets to ensure product stability and safety - Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and thoroughly - Operate an electric pallet jack safely and efficiently - Assist the Warehouse Manager with additional warehouse duties as assigned - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow all company policies and warehouse procedures, including: - GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) - HACCP - Food Safety standards - Employee Handbook policies - Additional company procedures as assigned - Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Production, Transportation, and Management teams to support daily operations **Qualifications & Requirements** - High school diploma or GED preferred - Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred - Experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work independently or as part of a team - Effective communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency - Reliable attendance and punctuality required - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time - Frequent bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis - Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including an electric pallet jack - Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE, including hairnet, beard net (if applicable), and work boots **Schedule** - **2nd Shift:** Sunday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM - Must be available to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation as needed. **Additional Information** - This is a full-time onsite position located in Lawrence, MA. - Relocation assistance is not available. - Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. **Equal Opportunity Employer** Joseph's Middle East Bakery is committed to creating an inclusi…
