2nd Shift CNC Operator/Machinist

## Overview **SUMMARY:** Setup and runs production on various CNC and conventional machines. ## Description **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Following process instructions setup and operate various CNC and conventional machines and perform various machining operations according to customer specifications and drawings. 2. Must be able to effectively utilize various measuring devices (micrometers, pin gages, etc.) to determine conformance to specification, drawings. 3. Train other machine operators and assist them on an as-needed basis. 4. Maintains overall cleanliness of work area. 5. Contribute to team activities which would include process and safety improvement. ## Requirements **PRECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:** 1. Pre-employment physical 2. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and process sheets. 2. Ability to effectively interact with other employees at Bremer. 3. Complete time cards. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:** General shop math required: compute sum, average, range and tolerance using whole numbers.
