1st Shift Packer - Chips PART-TIME

**Building a great career never tasted so good!** **ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $250.00 RETENTION BONUS!** We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our **Part-Time Packer** position, to join our **Nottingham, PA** team! - **SCHEDULE:** Monday-Thursday - **SHIFT:** 7am-2:30pm - **Additional hours may be required due to business demands.** **WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:** - Must complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. **COMPETENCIES YOU BRING:** - Must be able to lift 25 pounds. - Must be able to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water. - Must be able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment. **QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:** - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Good balance on slippery surfaces. - Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time. Any questions about this position or any others, please contact the Human Resources department at 610-932-6500 or recruitment@herrs.com. **Herr Foods Inc. is a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer M/F/Veterans/Disabilities.** ### Key Responsibilities **KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Assemble and label boxes to be filled with products off the production line. - Ensure proper seals, codes, dates, and prices on product bags and cases are correct. - Take defective products off the production line. - Clean and sanitize the work area and plant equipment. - Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods. - Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance. - Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data. - Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment. - Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
