1st Shift Case Expeditor

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Case Expeditor to join our distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will support the full case department. DUTIES: Release stock as workflow demands Control workflow to the department equipment operators Adjust inventory when required Clear TMP location report Utilize WMS for workflow Support other areas of warehouse when and where needed Operate equipment (Order Selector/Drexel) as needed Maintain and track equipment checklists and sign out sheet Filing and organizing essential paperwork Follow and support all Safety procedures and policies Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs Must have prior forklift experience and able to drive either a Pacer, Reach, Drexel, Turret, Long John, or Low Rider. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills PC skills – WMS Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and management Must possess ability to learn/use warehouse systems (WM) Must be able to work in a stressful environment Work OT when required SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm
