1711 - General Engineering Technician

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.*** - 2-4 years of experience in 12v/24v electrical wiring. - Proven experience with PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology (SMT). - Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly processes. - Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is highly desirable. - Experience reading electrical drawings. - Experience in a production/manufacturing setting. - Must be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs. - Must be a U.S. citizen. **Computer Programs/Software:** - Microsoft Office Suite. **Personnel Clearance Level:** - Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. - *A clearance will not be sponsored.* **Education Requirements:** - High School Diploma (or equivalent). - *Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.* **Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):** - Manufacturing and assembling cables and wire harnesses. - Assembling/wiring electrical box assemblies. - Cable management and wire routing through cable trays or conduit. - Regular use of soldering iron, wire cutter/stripper/crimper, hand tools, power tools, digital multi-meter, and calipers. - Installation of electrical components in racks, cabinets, boxes, etc. - Diagnose and fix electrical issues. - Assist with equipment design modifications, including fabrication, and testing. **Pay Range**: $24 - $28 per hour. - Dental and Vision Insurance - Medical Insurance to Include HSA, FSA, and DFSA Plans - Life and AD&D coverage - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - 401(k) Plan with Company Matching Contributions - 160 Hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) - 12 (Floating) Holidays - Educational Assistance - Highly Competitive Salary
